Her love for photography began when she became a stepmom to Landan in 2011, but her passion grew even deeper when her son, Jack, was born four months premature in 2014. She documented his fight for survival in photographs daily and learned there is beauty to be found in each day – even the terrible, sad, and incredibly ordinary ones.

Carrine Powers | Jupiter Hue Photography (Orlando, Florida) Momma to 2 daughters, 2 sons, and a step-son. Carrine’s work centers around her family and daily life, where her main goal is to capture the moments as they happen, for her and her family to have them for years to come. She also strives to push herself and go further with her art than just capturing a moment to impart artistic skill and intention with her images.
Erica Burns | Erica Burns Photography (Massapequa Park, New York) Erica is a mom of two and used to be a teacher. She first learned photography using film in high school, and then picked it up again after her son was born in 2007. She loves to find the contrast of harsh light and dark shadows and to push herself to try new techniques.
